Project Description

project brief

The project “Cuisine Levantine” focused on developing a unique brand identity and digital presence for a Levantine restaurant in Vienna.
I was responsible for the entire visual and UX concept, from logo design and color palette to user experience research and website usability.

Through a combination of on-site photography, customer interviews, and competitive analysis, I defined a style that reflects the warmth, tradition, and elegance of Levantine cuisine – with a modern twist. The result is a consistent brand experience across digital and physical touchpoints.

connecting the digital era

Restaurants thrive on atmosphere – and we wanted that atmosphere to carry over into the online experience.
By translating the restaurant’s unique interior, textures, and emotional cues into web design and branding, we created a digital presence that feels as inviting and rich as the physical space.

Interactive elements like menus, booking tools, and storytelling visuals were tailored for mobile-first users while maintaining clarity and cultural authenticity.

challenges we’ve faced

Throughout the project, several creative and strategic challenges arose that required thoughtful solutions.
Balancing cultural authenticity with modern digital expectations was at the heart of the process. Here are the key hurdles we tackled:

  • 1

Balancing tradition and modernity in the branding without falling into clichés.

  • 2

Capturing the unique identity of the restaurant visually and emotionally – beyond just the food.

  • 3

Ensuring usability and responsiveness across all devices, especially for mobile-based reservation behavior.

  • 4

Collecting and integrating user insights from diverse customer segments to inform structure and design decisions.

the final result

The final brand and website present Cuisine Levantine as a place of authenticity, hospitality, and culinary experience.
With warm, culturally rooted visuals and a seamless user interface, guests can intuitively explore the menu, book a table, and connect with the brand’s story – both online and offline.
